It sounds like there is now a real possibility of a re-vote in Michigan. This is exciting news! But it is by no means a sure thing. If we want to make this happen, there isn't much time---the Michigan State House of Representatives leaves for a recess in just a few days. In order for the results to be counted, they will need to pass legislation to enact a new primary before the end of next week.
It is vitally important that all of us who care about having our vote counted contact our state legislators very soon, before this recess, and also contact the members of the Michigan Democratic party that are involved in this decision. And we can't do it alone, so please pass this message along to your friends, family, and colleagues. You can use the Tell a Friend page to do this:

In order for this plan to become reality, it needs to be approved by the Michigan legislature, both the Clinton and Obama campaigns, the Democratic National Committee, the Michigan Democratic Party, and Governor Granholm. Negotiations for this deal are being headed by Sen. Carl Levin, Rep. Carolyn Kilpatrick, United Auto Workers President Ron Gettelfinger and DNC Member Debbie Dingell.
I have updated the "What can I do" page on WhoStoleMiVote.org with information on how to contact these people:

Please take the time to email, fax, or call your representative in the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate, along with the Democratic party leadership. If you have supported some of these folks in the past or donated to their campaigns, your comments will be especially meaningful to them. And in particular, news outlets are reporting that Obama's campaign is reluctant to support a re-vote, so if are an Obama supporter please drop his campaign a note.
Finally, next week I will print out a copy of the online petition and send it to both Clinton and Obama's campaigns, the leadership of the Michigan House of Representatives and Senate, the Michigan Democratic Party, and the Michigan Democratic party. If you know anybody who still hasn't signed the petition, please send them to:

Thanks to all of you for your help and support on this important issue!
