One possible alternative is to vote in the Republican Primary. Mitt Romney seems to have a fair amount of traction in this state, son of a former governor and all, and Huckabee may have a lot of pull on the west side.
I don't like any of the Republican candidates, really, but idea of having to say either President Romney or President Huckabee sometime in the next year is much more disturbing to me than, say, President McCain.
McCain seems to me to be the best of a bad lot. I don't want him to be president, but I think he'd repeal a lot of the executive-as-king stuff that our current leadership has installed, whereas I'm fairly sure that the rest of that group would not.
Just a thought.

Daily Kos is endorsing Romney
Thanks for stopping by, Caleb! The Daily Kos is endorsing Romney, and they have a graphic that is quite funny:
I think I am also going to vote for McCain in the primary too, though. He is the least scary, and I think he is one of the few candidates that would have the guts to do something about Guantanamo and our recent tendencies towards torture.
